The year is 2007. 📖

I’m a recent 5th grade grad, oussssside at the teen club, & already knowing I couldn’t wait to get home and show my Momma my ‘club pics.’ 😆

Before I truly understood what it meant to create experiences or preserve memories, DJ Lil Carl was showing so many of us what it felt like to be young, safe, FREE, & having the time of our livesssss. 🥳

He gave Louisville more than music. He helped create spaces where we could BOP, laugh, show outttt, be in community, & build the memories that would become an unforgettable childhood. 🫶🏽

All these years later, we’re so grateful to have made a few more memories with him on the other side of the camera - in the Tremonae booth. 🥹📸✨
