Bunbury friends,

After thoughtful consideration, we have concluded our current season following the recent production of Endgame.

Under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director John Campbell Finnegan and the Board of Directors, Bunbury Theatre is actively planning its next chapter. Fundraising and capital efforts are underway, summer theatre classes are being explored, and new productions are already in development as we approach our 40th anniversary.

To our subscribers and supporters, thank you. Your encouragement and generosity have carried Bunbury for four decades, and we are deeply grateful.

Congratulations to Ballard Senior, Savanah Webb, for being chosen as the Grand Prize winner for the Kentucky Derby Museum art contest: Horsing Around With Art!

Her artwork was chosen for the grand prize out of every entry (over 300) in the Derby Region and will be on display at the Kentucky Derby Museum! Savanah was presented with the surprise reveal today during first period.

Prepare to come to the last weekend (Thursday - Sunday) of Samuel Beckett’s ENDGAME! I was blown away seeing this theater of the absurd chestnut LIVE - and so relevant to our human condition. ❤️ This performance, by some of the best actors in town, really could not be improved upon. Lots of laughs, too.

Just before snow blanketed Louisville, Spring Awakening closed with back-to-back afternoon performances. It was simply a gift to witness the art and grace of a visionary director, inspired musicians, and excellent performers.

Thank you to all the generous audiences who supported this incredible show. What Melchior said rings true for each of the Bunbury Young Artists, "Watch me..."

Due to inclement weather, there have been changes to the following performances:

▪ Bunbury Theatre Company’s Spring Awakening: Saturday, January 24 (7:30PM) & Sunday, January 25 (2:00PM) have been canceled. Two performances have been added for this Saturday at 11:00AM & 2:00PM.

▪ StageOne Family Theatre’s The Lightning Thief: Saturday, January 24 (2:00PM and 7:30PM) & Sunday, January 25 (2:00PM) have been canceled.
