Opening our season with Verdi’s Requiem has been nothing short of unforgettable 🙌

Tonight, we had our second performance of Verdi’s Requeim in Whitney Hall, marking the opening of our 2026-2027 Classics Season. This concert was a truly epic and memorable experience, and was an incredible opportunity to collaborate with fellow Louisville arts groups. Special thanks to Louisville Chamber Choir, Voces Novae and University of Louisville Collegiate Chorale for joining us this weekend and making these performances so special.

Join us for our Classics Season Opener of Verdi’s Requiem! This powerful work is one that brings chorus and soloists together in a shared experience of drama, beauty, and reflection. It’s iconic music performed at a scale and caliber you simply have to see for yourself. We hope to see you there!

What a way to open the season 🤯☕️

This morning was an epic opening to our 26-27 Coffee Series and we are so excited for the season ahead! Today, we performed Verdi’s Requiem alongside Louisville Chamber Choir, Voces Novae and University of Louisville Collegiate Chorale. We’d love to give a special shout out to our vocal soloists, Amanda Batista, Lisa Marie Rogali, Minghao Liu and Brian Kontes, as well as Kent Hatteberg, Director of LCC.
