We are just 1️⃣ week away from Give for Good 2026! This year, all money raised through Give For Good impacts our MakingMUSIC educational program. Founded in 1940, MakingMUSIC is the Louisville Orchestra’s flagship education program, bringing immersive musical experiences to elementary students across Louisville.

Don’t forget- early giving begins on Monday, September 7th!

We can’t wait to make this a record-breaking Give For Good with YOUR support. We can’t do what we do without you 🤗

Give for Good 2026 is only 2 weeks away 🎉🫶

Give for Good Louisville is a regional-wide day of giving in which non-profit organizations come together to encourage fundraising for non-profits city-wide. This year, all money raised through the Louisville Orchestra’s Give For Good directly impacts our MakingMUSIC program. This program is the Louisville Orchestra’s longest standing tradition and allows us to bring the gift of music education and live performance to 4th and 5th grade JCPS students free of cost.

Help us keep MakingMUSIC alive for another 80 years and mark your calendars to give on September 10th!

Let’s make this year’s Give for Good our best yet.

Today, we’re looking back to one of our favorite performances from the 2025-2026 season, “Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony” as we remember and celebrate Dolly Parton’s kind spirit, generous heart and monumental impact on music and audiences across the world.

Thank you, Dolly 🦋🩷
