We know it has been quite some time since you heard us on the podcast and that is only because we have been working on some projects!!
We are currently the 2022 recipients of the Fund For The Art's ArtsMatch grant. We are raising funds to fulfill our project "Muddy Waters". The Fund will match dollar for dollar of what we raise!!
"Muddy Waters" is a collage of 4 10 minute plays and poems about a millennial black married couple on the brink of divorce.
We explore generational trauma, where we first learned how to love, how did our parents love, do we bond through our traumas, are we in love or in survival etc.
We talk about it all! Communicattion, infidelity, insecurity and vanity that some marriages experience but from our perspective!

ArtsMatch project spotlight: "Muddy Waters," created by artists Kenneth Coleman and Rheonna Thornton, is a multi-disciplined/multi-genre, poetic operatic experience that juxtaposes generational trauma and love within a black marriage on the brink of divorce. ArtsMatch funding will help bring this transformative performance to life.
Donate to this project today and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to support from LG&E and KU: https://fundforthearts.givingfuel.com/2022-artsmatch-muddy-waters
