Coming Saturday, July 11th at 8 pm Turners Circus presents their summer-themed r***e, “Shine.” This show will feature instructors and students performing to music that’s all about summer fun and frolic.

Leading up to the big night we will look at each performer in our Spotlight series. Up today is Maggie Coole, who will perform on triple trapeze. Maggie answered a few questions for her bio.

What keeps me motivated In aerials or circus?- The people everyone is so supportive and kind!

What music do you have on n repeat right now?- Sabrina carpenter!

What do you do for summer fun?- Go swimming and tan!

What’s something about yourself for which you are very proud of?- I’m proud of getting this far in circus and aerials.

Favorite summer memory- In first grade playing mermaids in the pool!

Come out and support your favorite performer and your local circus. Show starts at 8. Doors open at 7:30 pm. Tickets sold at door. $10 general admission/$5 if current student. Drinks available at lounge before, during, and after the show.

What keeps you motivated in aerials or circus? Performing is my biggest motivator because it leaves a goal to reach, or when I revisit moves and realized I’ve gotten stronger.

What music do you have on repeat right now?
I listen to my metal playlist almost everyday, but I’ve specifically been listening to a lot of wage war.

What do you do for summer fun?
I like going to concerts and festivals.

What’s something about yourself for which you are very proud?
I’m proud that I’ve gotten into college and already have some credits completed.

Favorite summer memories?
Last year I really enjoyed my trip to Seattle and would love to go again.
