Lloyd Yearwood was a photographer known for his black and white work showcasing urban life in New York City in the 1960's. Most famous for his photos of Malcolm X, Elijah Muhammad and the late-night Harlem drag scene, our photo of his is a quieter scene of boys in a chess club. You can see it in person as part of our latest show, "Face It."
