We're excited to announce singer/songwriter Joy Oladokun will headline the September 17 WFPK Waterfront Wednesday at the Big Four Lawn at Waterfront Park. She joins Uwade and Maggie Halfman to close out a FABULOUS 2025 season.

Oladokun has collaborated with artists such as Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Jason Isbell and Noah Kahan and has joined Morris, Isbell, Kahan, John Mayer, My Morning Jacket, and more on the road.

At WFPK, she joined us for a MembersOnly in September 2023 before playing Bourbon & Beyond, and, most recently, in January of this year she guest DJ'd with host Laura Shine.

We can't wait to see what she'll bring to the Waterfront Wednesday stage in September!

It's going to be another hot WFPK Waterfront Wednesday on the Big Four Lawn at Waterfront Park, but we'll help keep you cool!

🚰The Louisville Water Company will be on site with a water filling station for filling up your water bottles. Visit them early and often.

💦 Misters will be hung up between light poles near the bridge ramp. Channel your inner child and run through them for a quick refresher.

🤿 Waterfront KidsDay will have water-centered games to keep the young ones cool.
