A Vintage Halloween Cat Window-kin.
Carved on a 13x13 piece of black foamboard with an xacto knife. Orange cellophane on the back gives the orange
color when light shines through it.

My first carving after having cataract surgery and my carving hand repaired ... it all was good! Thanks for the good wishes.

Here is my post as it was posted on the Pumpkin Carving Group site.
I so wanted St0ney to make this Depp puttern just as it was in the picture he posted on the Pumpkin Carving page. I purt-near begged
him ... so when I saw that he made it ... I had to wait till the site went live to carve it. . UNFORTUNATELY I carved it on Party City's new pumpkin they were selling for $10. It really looked like it was a good carvable pumpkin ... WRONG!!!. I used more glue on on this than any pumpkin I have ever carved! There just was not enough Cell structure to support the small lines. I quickly drew some color patches on computer paper just to see if the color would let enough light pass through ...it did! I did not remake it. I was happy with it -- even with all the mistakes. Thanks so much, St0ney.
