The Station

The Station The Station is the south's most unique & incredible sounding listening room for live Americana music!

The Station, located in rural East Tennessee, has become a destination for Americana music fans traveling far away as Canada and California just to experience a show inside The Station's 125+ yr old building! The Station’s old wood interior resonates much like a vintage instrument. Located far from the city lights, the music often blends with cicadas, frogs, and other night sounds from the foothil

ls of the Smoky Mountains. A crowd limit of only 74 seats ensures each show will be an intimate music experience, with all seats equivalent to a backstage pass as fans interact with artists! We’re not a restaurant and don't sell food or drinks, but on weekend shows when weather permits, we have someone grilling burgers and hotdogs as a pre-show option with sides available from 6:00pm until showtime. When available the suggested donation for the optional is $15 for a meal to help cover our cost. We only have water available but adults over 21 are allowed to BYOB or drinks of choice in a small cooler. We've had many Grammy winning artists and #1 hit songwriters perform, as well as the best local artists. We first offer tickets to folks on our email list so many shows sell out before becoming public. You can add yourself to our email list at http://eepurl.com/dsLrNz

***SOLD OUT. Watch this page for more in the near future.***

I'm trying something a little different with the pegwinders this time. I occasionally get requests for special wood on the handles, so I've decided to occasionally make a few with premium woods. To best show the beauty of the wood, I'm using a hand rubbed oil finish on them instead of the lacquer I normally use.

This pair has Macassar ebony handles with a rubbed oil finish. Macassar ebony often exhibits dark brown streaks but these have a very solid very dark (almost black) chocolate color. The price is $185 each including shipping to US addresses. Tennessee residents will have sales tax added. Sorry, no shipping outside of the US.

If interested, please send a Facebook message or contact me thru my web site. I can send payment information then. Thanks!

While doing some background research on The Jenkins Twins,
I was struck by how many different music genres (Western swing, rock, folk, country, Americana) were mentioned to describe their style in reviews, as well as the number of artists they were compared to: Buck Owens, Dwight Yoakam, The Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, Orville Peck, The Louvin Brothers, Colter Wall, The Civil Wars. The band’s press kit throws a few more names in the mix: Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, The Cactus Blossoms, Lord Huron, The Killers.

Performing LIVE at The Station this Saturday, June 20th!
Don't miss this opportunity! It's gonna be a great time!

If you missed seeing the Corduroy Cadets at The Station last night, you missed a real treat! George Carnes, Trey, Colin & Luke…So young. So talented. This song, No Moss, was recently released and written by George Carnes. Be sure to follow these guys. They will no doubt be back at The Station. Everyone loved them. Standing ovation. ♥️
