Ever been to GUST? Curious about how it works?

Writers submit true, personal stories that align with the theme for the month at least a week before the event that must read about 12 minutes long.

Readers volunteer each month to read these stories at the event & have a few days to practice at home.

On the night of the event, arrive at West Sixth NuLu at 7 & enjoy some great stories over libations.

Want to participate at the event? There are prompts for everyone to write a few sentences about their own story. Here are some examples of prompts for tomorrow’s GUST:

In a few sentences, write about a time…

•that changed your vacation plans because you had to take care of someone.

•when someone had to take care of you because you were in an altered state of mind.
