Heartbreaking 💔 Cleanup day at Louisville cemetery today. I don’t have the equipment needed to clean this area up but I will hand w**d around the headstone anyway. Will check in on Sara & Sylvester next

The condition of Louisville Cemetery has been on the news lately due to it's lack of upkeep from the owners. This is where Earl McDonald, Sylvester Weaver and Sara Martin are all buried - along with many others. Local families have been suffering while this cemetery has been unmaintained for MONTHS now. There is a clean-up on Saturday, spearheaded by the Louisville Cemetery Improvement Association . Please come help if you can! This is not a permanent solution but a project that deserves some help and attention.

Have you been to Locals Louisville ? You should definitely pay them a visit. They have kindly hosted our board meetings for months now. It is SO nice to have a consistent date/time/place for our meetings. Their food is phenomenal - they have a play area and books for little ones - and they are a great resource for our community. Stop by and have a meal - including a safe, local SALAD!! Check out their Food Hub for local produce, baked goods, treats and more. Can't recommend them highly enough. They are located at the corner of Broadway and Logan.

If you are heading down to Waterfront Park for the Fourth of July event on Saturday, come say hi! The Jubilee will be in the kid's area, making and decorating egg shakers. The kids area is open from 5-9pm before the fireworks at 10. This year's event takes place on the great lawn and it's all free. Hope to see you there!

We are so happy to be included in this amazing group of events that are happening this fall in Louisville! Please support live music and the arts in our community. Happy to announce that the National Jug Band Jubilee is one of 11 recipients of a Fall community event mini-grant from Fund for the Arts - we are so thankful for this program! We can't wait to see you all back on the river at the Brown-Forman Amphitheater on October 3rd!
