📣 DERBY CITY MOBILE FUN FACTORY IS HIRING PART-TIME EVENT HELP! 🎪⛳🎯
We’re looking to add a few dependable people to our event crew!
⚠️ PLEASE READ — this is NOT a regular 20–30 hour-a-week job.
Right now, we’re talking roughly 10–15 hours PER MONTH, depending on our event schedule. This is a great side job for someone looking to make some extra money and have some fun while doing it!
👻 SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER
One of the biggest things we need help with is our setup at a local haunted house! Derby City Mobile Fun Factory will be operating part of the midway with our Mobile Mini Golf & Carnival Games.
We need someone comfortable with:
💵 Collecting payments
🎟️ Putting wristbands on customers
⛳ Keeping an eye on mini golf and carnival games
👨👩👧👦 Interacting with customers and families
🧹 Keeping the area organized and running smoothly
We also have random festivals, school events, church events and other jobs where extra hands are needed.
❄️ NOVEMBER–FEBRUARY: Things get VERY slow. There may be little to no work during parts of the winter.
🌸 APRIL & MAY: Things start getting CRAZY again — especially the 2nd and 3rd weeks of May, when we have a ton of school events and need all hands on deck!
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
✅ Must be dependable and show up when scheduled
✅ Must be able to pass a background check
✅ Must be comfortable working around kids and families
✅ Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs — that’s about the weight of one of our foam cannons
✅ Must be able to stand and work for several hours at a time
✅ Comfortable handling money and dealing with customers
✅ Weekend and evening availability is a BIG plus
✅ Must be willing to actually WORK — setup, teardown and moving equipment are part of the job!
🎪 This isn’t your typical part-time job. One weekend you might be running mini golf at a haunted house, the next you’re helping at a school festival, and another day you might be setting up a foam party.
