The Black Boy Narratives: From Street to Stage 50 Black males in Louisville will be asked questions. A play will be written based on what they have to say. They will be as young as 5, but no older than 25.

The project launched in 2021, when I began collecting stories and having conversations with young Black men and boys around Louisville. The bulk of the writing occurred in 2022. And finally, in 2023, I celebrated with a table reading in the MeX Theater. What a journey!
