“Did you know that the Eagle is the only bird that flies directly into a storm?
While other birds "run" from the weather, the Eagle actively engages these stronger winds and, instead of seeking shelter, uses the turbulence to push itself higher.” Now, let’s look at what God says about those who put their hope in Jesus. “They will soar on wings like eagles.”🦅
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:29-31 NIV
Thank you Father God, for your Word and for Your Spirit. Thank you for this promise, and this encouraging word. While we may face storms in our lives, we rejoice in You, we continually put our hope and trust in You, and in doing so we find rest and peace in You. May we soar on wings like eagles, up above the strong winds and stormy weather below, may we keep our eyes and hearts set on You, who carries us through and will carry us higher and further. In Jesus’ name, Amen .
