BEYONCÉ’S LETTER: The Memorial 🕯 B SIMM’s daughter Haven sits in front of a painting of Breonna Taylor at her memorial, almost as if looking in a mirror. This scene represents his fear of Haven being someday taken from him, as Breonna was so cruelly taken from her family. The parallel between Haven & Breonna also call to mind Breonna’s innocence, how she was still a child in her mother’s eyes, and how truly precious her future was, before it was stolen.
