There are performances that remind you why live music matters. This is one of them.
Grady Spencer stepped into The Monarch Living Room for the very first time - a sold-out night in Louisville - and what came out of that room was something quietly extraordinary. Same Place is a song about empathy, about recognizing yourself in the people around you, and in this outtake you can hear exactly why it connects the way it does. Emotional and real.
We are so honored to have had him in our space.

Hi, it's us @ The Monarch Living Room - our intimate session series capturing one-take performances from incredible artists who pass through our space.
Some songs remind you how to be human again. This is one of them. Before Grady Spencer & the Work played Same Place, he told us what it's about - empathy, and how to bring it back to the center of our lives. His voice is kind and grounding, his guitar warm and unhurried, and what he said before that first chord rang out is something that stayed with everyone in the room. This was his first time playing Louisville, on a sold-out night, and he gave us everything.

Parker Gispert - Butter [Session No. 33] 🖤

Hi, it's us! The Monarch Living Room - our intimate session series capturing one-take performances from incredible artists who pass through our space.
Some voices just go down like butter. Parker Gispert stepped into The Monarch Living Room and delivered exactly that -warm, effortless, and rich all the way through. Butter filled this room like a song that's been living inside you for years, just waiting for someone to finally play it right. The kind of performance that makes you exhale slowly when it's done.
