Thank you to everyone who voted for Presley over the last week. She was able to win the top spot in the female Boot Barn Future Stars of Rodeo. Congrats as well to all the other girls and guys that were selected as fop stars, that’s a feat in itself.

Presley and Romeo had a clean run this morning but a bit slower than the normal times they clock. Unfortunately when they came out of the arena Romeo was sore and not himself. After consulting with the on site vet she made the decision not to run him in her second go tonight. It sucks to work so hard all year long for something like this to happen but when it comes down to what’s important, it comes down to taking care of Romeo. Instead of drawing out she has decided to just wing it with her rope horse and see what happens.

Please go vote for your home town cowgirl. You can vote once a day for the next week. When we arrived in Nebraska we found out that our very own cowgirl had been selected as a Boot Barn Future Star of Rodeo. She is featured on a billboard in Lincoln Nebraska and numerous banners and signs around the complex. Only 5 girls and 5 guys were selected in the nation. We are happy to represent NC and our hometown Louisburg. Help us make NC and Louisburg proud to win it all by casting your vote.

We are making the jump from the International Finals Youth Rodeo in Shawnee Oklahoma today over to the National High School Finals in Lincoln Nebraska. Go team NC!!
