🎆🇺🇸 FIREWORKS ARE COMING TO SEPTEMBERFEST! 🇺🇸🎆

As part of our celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, we’re adding a special ending to Lawrence County Septemberfest 2026!

On Saturday night, September 12, a fireworks display will light up the sky between 11:00–11:30 PM, following the close of the festival. THIS WILL BE A SHORT 5-7 min display.

🎆 Fireworks will be launched from the Point area near the bridge and should be clearly visible throughout the festival area in downtown Louisa.

After a full day of music, food, rides, vendors and fun, stick around and help us close out the 35th Annual Septemberfest with a patriotic celebration of America’s 250 years! 🇺🇸

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM SEPTEMBERFEST! 🚨

We’ve received word that Barney Fife and Ernest T. Bass are headed to Louisa for Lawrence County Septemberfest! 😂

City officials are already preparing…

🪨 All loose rocks are being secured.
🪟 Downtown businesses are being advised to keep an eye on their windows.
🚔 And Barney has assured us he’ll have his one bullet safely tucked away in his shirt pocket!

Of course, if Ernest starts chunking rocks and breaking windows, Barney says he’s prepared to make the arrest…

Assuming he can get the handcuffs on him. 🤣

🙏🇺🇸 SEPTEMBERFEST COMMUNITY PRAYER 🇺🇸🙏

Each year, before the music begins and the streets fill with visitors, the Septemberfest Committee begins our festival the same way — with prayer.

We gather to pray for our town, our visitors, and the safety of everyone who will be part of Septemberfest. This year, as we gather near the anniversary of September 11, we will also offer special prayers for our nation, our first responders, our veterans, and the men and women currently serving in our Armed Forces.

We invite the entire community, along with our visiting vendors, performers, volunteers, and guests, to join us.

You don't have to be a committee member or be working the festival. Everyone is welcome.
