Fallsburg Summer Stage

To our Fallsburg Summer Stage community:

Since our founding in 2021, we had one goal in mind: Let’s foster a platform for the outstanding talent we all know and love so well in our corner of Appalachia.

That goal has not changed—and will not change—but we’re here to share the disappointing news that Fallsburg Summer Stage will take a break for 2025.

We cannot stress enough that this is a “see you later” and not “goodbye.” Making this decision was a tough one, but necessary for now. In the meantime, we want to remind you: Appalachian artistry is at the center of what makes our region, its people, and our hills so special.

Please continue to support your community. Go to local shows. Support your local artists. Lend a helping hand to your neighbors. Help us keep the heartbeat of Fallsburg Summer Stage going, even if we’re going to slow it down, if only for a bit.

We want to take a moment to congratulate our winner of artist Isaac Denton’s original, hand-drawn Fallsburg Summer Stage poster, !

Because of contest entries and donation made by each and every one of YOU, we were able to raise $390 for EKY Mutual Aid. 🙌

Thanks to Healing Appalachia for partnering with us to raise money for such an integral part of our community. And, of course, thanks to Isaac Denton Art for sharing his talent and time to help us with our efforts!

Every year when the crowd retreats to which they came, all the tents are taken down, and shades of normalcy start to emerge, we struggle for words in which to describe what happened at Fallsburg. It blows us away year after year. There are a lot of “thank yous” to go around and frankly, there’s no way we could single folks out without missing someone.

To the crowd of people that stood in the POURING rain Friday and flat danced a hole into the earth, thank you. Seeing that alone put smiles on our faces and reminded us of exactly why we do this to ourselves every year. You folks are the engine that drives the music industry.

To the bands and artists that took time out of their schedules to be part of this thing, we can’t thank you enough. Getting to see our favorite bands in one place is the sole reason we do this. Y’all put on a master class of what professionalism in music is and showed the world (or at least our little part of it) just exactly how much talent and soul are in these mountains.

To the friends and family that, for some reason, see fit to keep showing up in our corner without hesitation to help is unbelievable: We are so indebted to you folks. It’s truly beyond words. When it comes to people you can count on, I’m pretty sure we have the lion’s share.

To the sponsors: The relationships we have built over the last year have been overwhelming. So many businesses in the community have stood behind us—not only monetarily, but in every way imaginable. This show, quite literally, is not possible without you.

From the staff, to the security, to the vendors, the food trucks, the crowd, the sound crews, the volunteers, the sponsors, the community, everything was…..well, perfect, in most every single way. And for that all we can say is. THANK YOU….and see y’all next year.
