Well, they say all good things must come to an end. I think that’s such a sad sentiment. And this good thing, this beautiful spot we called home for a short time is no longer ours. We had been planning for a long time for my husband to retire and to downsize significantly so we could travel and serve. Well our timing seemed unfortunate as we listed our home just as all the crazy hit our world! But we were incredibly blessed to have two offers with in 24 hours. We were expecting it to take much longer given the size of the property, the crazy economy and the pandemic. So when we had about a month to pack up and leave this beauty we were full of emotions. But we did it. We sold most of our earthly belongings (thank you Facebook Marketplace,) donated, gifted and packed up the rest. This place will always have a place in our hearts, and some of us in it’s walls. And now we are on to our next adventure.
