Balloon Fiesta is one of the most magical times in Albuquerque, and now you can make your own keepsake to commemorate it! During the week of the Fiesta we are offering three special workshops in needle felting, tapestry, and rug hooking. All materials and equipment will be provided—just come ready to have fun with fiber!

We have an exciting series of events in conjunction with the 2026 Yarn Crawl! Acclaimed knitter, physical therapist, and author Carson Demers Carson Demers is going to be teaching five workshops that help you learn how to create in a way that keeps your hand muscles healthy! He will also be giving a lecture and book signing to kick off his week of workshops.
