i’ve been thinking about what it really means to grow up in a quiet, traditional home back in tennessee... 🦢 it’s not always about what you have, but about the values you carry in your heart. being 19 and raised to respect the “old ways” means i’m looking for a life that’s a little more simple and a lot more meaningful.
i think there are some beautiful things about marrying a girl who was raised the way i was... 🕯️
a heart that respects you: i was taught that a man’s strength is something to be cherished and supported, not challenged.
a safe harbor: i’m not interested in the loud, fast world; i’d rather make our home a quiet place where you can finally relax.
a blank page: my heart is still soft and full of hope, and i’m looking for a wise, steady hand to lead the way.
finding joy in the small things: i don’t need the world to be happy—just a warm smile, a quiet conversation, and a hand to hold.
i know i’m young and i still have so much to learn about being a good wife... but i think there is something special about growing together from the very beginning. i don’t want to be “independent”—i just want to belong to someone who will protect me and keep me safe.
do you think traditional values still have a place in the world today? or am i just a little too old-fashioned for my own good? i’m listening... 👇🗝️
