In addition to film screenings, we are expecting to invite LGBT rights activist, LGBT Community Centers and LGBT artists for seminars and open forums to discuss how to improve equality and better represent our community. We are not an exclusive festival as we invite all filmmakers and artists of all walks of life, religions and communities to participate with us this November. We do have discounts for currently enrolled student filmmakers with proof of enrollment. We look forward ti seeing you in November. Awards & Prizes

Rules & Terms
*Although we do not require U.S. Premieres for our sections, premiere status is taken into consideration.
*For short films, there is no premiere requirement (films can have already played in the Los Angeles area and can appear online before the festival and are still eligible for consideration).
* Films that are 45 minutes or longer in length are considered feature films. Anything under 45 minutes is considered a short film.
*We welcome submissions VIA DCP only screeners and via vimeo or youtube secure online screener system.
* DCPs must be labeled clearly with the title, running time and contact information (including name, address and phone number).
* More than one entry may be submitted. Each entry must be accompanied by an official entry form and entry fee.
* If your film is selected, then you will be asked to provide a complete EPK, Electronic Press Kit, stills from the film; press materials; headshot and filmography of director; b&w and/or color and video trailer (if available). Please do not send in press materials until asked to do so by the festival.
* The entry fee is non-refundable.
* If you want confirmation that your entry has been received by 3rd Street Fest, please include a self-addressed stamped postcard otherwise confirmation will be sent via email.
* All film entries selected for the 3rd Street Fest, if accepted you agree to the rights to use footage, stills and/or titles and information from the film for promotional purposes.
* All films submitted must be free from any legal disputes and the filmmaker must have cleared all rights for music and exhibition.
* All filmmakers will be notified of acceptance via EMAIL.
