ARTslant

ARTslant A social perspective on art ArtSlant is a multimedia platform committed to bringing a social slant on art.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2007 by the late Georgia Fee, ArtSlant aims to bridge the gaps between the art world, its media, and the community. Art is intertwined with our shared human experience and is a fundamental force for galvanizing sincere communal action; for that reason, we believe in supporting art that relates to today’s most crucial issues, from racial, social, economic, and gender inequalities to environmental concerns. ArtSlant’s current programs and resources include:
—The annual ArtSlant Prize, open to everyone in our community
—The biannual Georgia Fee Artist | Writer Residency in Paris
—Editorial with an inclusive critical voice from writers with diverse insights worldwide
—A comprehensive exhibitions calendar and gallery database of 35,000 venues
—Profiles of more than 200,000 art professionals and artists
—Contemporary art research resource: search from over 300,000 openings and exhibitions from the recent past
