Odalisque combines the sensuality and excitement of Middle Eastern and World Dance with the glamor and sophistication of the classic Supperclub – in the magical grotto at L.A.’s historic El Cid. An international showgirl review with a retro wink, this unique dinner theatre weaves contemporary and vintage Bellydance with Samba, Burlesque, Latin, Bollywood and more. Odalisque’s mysterious beauties conjure Oriental charm with Hollywood finesse, taking inspiration from film, art and far-flung adventures. The weekly production changes color with new numbers and guest stars – don’t be surprised to find a famous Egyptian musician taking the stage, a Bollywood film come to life, or the spirit of Carmen Miranda delighting diners. Named for the voluptuous subjects of Orientalist paintings, this eclectic cabaret celebrates muses and the feminine mystique in a nouveau Demimonde.
