L.A. Louver is excited to share the upcoming exhibition HOCKNEY REPRODUCTION(S) at the Manship Artists Residency celebrating the life and art of David Hockney.

Developed by former Hockney studio assistant Bing McGilvray, the exhibition brings together more than 70 works exploring Hockney’s enduring experimentation with reproduction and technology across six decades.

The exhibition will open September 11 and be on view weekends through October 18, 2026.

We are delighted to share a first look at Gajin Fujita’s “100 Years L.A. Central Library,” a new painting created by the artist to commemorate the centennial of the Los Angeles Central Library.

Join Gajin and City Librarian John F. Szabo for the official unveiling of the artwork at the Central Library Centennial Festival on Saturday, July 11 at 12:15 p.m.

From 2-2:30 p.m., you can also meet Gajin and receive a signed limited-edition bookmark featuring his new painting.

L.A. Louver will be closed in observance of the National Shutdown and General Strike on Friday, January 30th. We stand in solidarity with our community and with the victims of state violence in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and across the country.

We will resume normal operations on Monday, February 2nd.
