In addition to maintaining taiko as a community-based tradition, TAIKOPROJECT also incorporates unconventi

We had a lot of fun today at .pride! The snowflakes were a fun obstacle.

Fun fact: the mascot at Rowland Elementary is a raccoon named Rascal. (David) has a stuffed animal raccoon that he’s had since before he’s been born and still has it to this day, so he was super excited to perform this amazing solo today.

Today we made our way back to Luther Burbank Middle School for a school show performance. When we arrived there was an amazing history Family Feud style presentation and many great outfits.
BTS: sometimes we need to run through our parts for a particular song and we have to adapt to our space.

It was another 2-show day, this time at Adams Elementary! We were so impressed with how well each student embodied the 3R’s - Respect Yourself, Respect Others, and Respect Your School.

We’re happy to announce the opening of a new Beginning class, starting Tuesdays from 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm!  The class will run from May 5 through July 21 and is perfect for anyone new to taiko, and seeking to learn fundamentals within a supportive and energetic environment.
