Need a costume for a party, a cosplay, or because you like to dress up? Prismatic Costumes will create custom made costumes just for you for any reason.

Prismatic Costumes is a small business owned by Johnnyangel Pineda, specializing in costumes for theatre, cosplays, and drag. Prismatic Costumes aims to create a scene stealing outfit that makes the wearer look stunning and confident. Each garment starts off in a drafting phase where it is drawn then tweaked and collaborated on by Johnnyangel and the client. From there the garment is custom tailored to the clients body. Finally, once ironed/ steamed the garment is sold ready for any occasion. (Once an outfit is made that pattern and fabric pairing will not be used for a full calendar year, thus insuring originality.)

A girl has been going crazy over here!
Between 3 huge musicals, multiple commissions I can't talk about, rhinestoning, Coachella, photoshoots, drag race. Ugh... When's a girl get a chance to take her bra off???

Long version:
Oof, what can I say about this month... 💖
Soo much is always happening, but Halloween season is a WHOLE DIFFERENT game; esp. with 2 BIG custom commissions, 1 HUGE theatrical show, 1 small play, drag performances, managing 6 event venues, managing & executing Etsy sales, teaching, and just life in general.

I work so hard for Prismatic to be everything I've ever dreamed for it. And watching it grow over the years has been amazing.

This year, I decided to take a step back from how hard I pushed myself last year. This was a choice to give me space to refocus on what I needed to. And this has brought extreme highs and some extreme lows

I've learned a lot about myself, my art, and my life...

And thankfully, after 9mos of a 'break' I finally feel the spark of high creativity coming back. And for the first time, I feel like all the tools and pieces are in my hands... I just need to put them together.

So thank you ALL for your support, joy, and patience. I appreciate and love all of you so much!

And as I take these next two months to gather & prepare myself, I am SO excited for the things I'm gonna bring to this new year. 💖

Commissions will be open again, January 2024. 💖💖

This super cool look is made of a really AWESOME, rather new fabric called Techno. Its like neoprene /scuba, but doesn't crease or wrinkle. It's soft and spongy.

What I love most about this lewk is its versatility! You can wear it so the color blocking is flipped, or you can make it a split down the middle lewk. 💖

I really did love making this for one of my girls,
She came to me with a couple inspos, and we tooled this look over, till we ended up with this stunner. 😍

Then I messed up and couldn't get the beaded fringe to me in time. So I gave it to her at no added charge. But it was completely hand beaded by me... Like 30+ hours on that fringe alone.

Made from stretch canvas, tulle, and SO many tears, this straight jacket gown has me bound and GAGGED!!

And trust it's fully a straight jacket, the sleeves wrap around, and buckle. 😋💖
