I was fortunate to travel to Europe with my family and visit the, Institute Giacometti, in Paris. It was one of the highlights of my art viewing life.

The recreated studio, sculpture, paintings and furnishings he created throughout his life that are on display are extensive. I have never seen his furnishings in person and was enamored with their elegance. While quoting his eye are completely different than all the other work I have looked at through the years.

Everyone was completely taken by the experience of being in the presence of this place. Thank you to my daughter Elena who excitedly guided us to this magical place during quite a heatwave ❤️

So lucky Kathryn’s husband was busy and I got to be her plus one for the 100 year celebration at the Central Library. I was curious to see the time capsule, not sure what I was expecting. It contained a lot of flyers which makes sense but I guess I wish there were a couple of collectibles. I don’t know the name of these amazing singers who welcomed us but they sure did bring a lot of joy to the celebration ✨
