I want to say thank you to the genuine love and support that has been shown over the last few months from BET, Stevie Wonder, LA Times, the City of LA, UCLA and of course all of you. Especially those who gave to the GoFundMe, thank you. At this time there are not any active request for contributions. Unfortunately, there are some that will try to use this moment and her name for personal gain. If you see any GoFundMe, or donation requests please report it.
I made a tribute to my Aunt because I told her I'd do my best to keep her legacy going and I am a woman of my word.
But the intentions that some have when someone passes has not made this the easiest promise to keep (ya'll know how people get).
I pray this world gets back to a spirit of compassion and let greed go. The chase to be seen or known has stifled who we are and it needs to change.
So thank you to all of you who still sends her sweet messages, I see them ❤️
Just because someone is resilient doesn't mean they don't have a limit of what they can give and she gave more than enough. Her accomplishments she made, that no one can take credit for, makes me proud and I pray God's will is done to continue your legacy
