The RMA out on the town last Saturday night to see The Iron Maidens at The Gaslamp in Long Beach.
Excuse the grainy photos; I had to take them from the back of the room as there was no way to get up to the stage for the crowd of people - must’ve been around 400 or so. It was great to catch up with RMA Award Winner Nikki Stringfield… and say hello to the ever present at metal concerts and RMA supporter Luis Morales!

RMA out in Hollywood last night to see “Hellings” at The Troubadour. Amongst pro players performing in the band last night were Jake Faun guitar, Adi Argelazi Faun backing vox, and Zeus bass.
All eyes were on Brett Hellings as he fronted the band keeping the audience engaged.

Hellings Is Coming To Town
Hey everyone, got a fun show Thu August 6 at The Troubadour with Brett Hellings headlining! In his band that night are well known to Hollywood pro players Jake Faun on guitar and Adi Argelazi Faun on backing vox. This is Brett’s first appearance at the historic Troubadour. Some of the RMA staff will be there soaking up the tunes and the spirits!😁

Marco Mendoza signing autographs at the Thimble Slide/Rock Music Alliance booth at NAMM Show. For the past several years Thimble Slide guitar slides splits their booth with us. The RMA’s main purpose is to highlight for the public new releases in Rock, Metal and Prog music. We do that with our Video/Audio Podcast, Playlists, Events, and The RMA Awards for Rock, Metal, Prog which we hope to grow into an annual live show!

Marco was a trooper… he was scheduled to sign autographs for one hour, but the line kept coming and he kept signing for a full two hours.

RMA Interview with Becky Baldwin!

Becky Baldwin - Bass player with legendary Metal band Mercyful Fate; Alt./Rap-Metal artist Delilah Bon; and Birmingham, U.K. Metal band Fury talks with RMA Host Cole Coleman about how she first met up with legendary metal band Mercyful Fate and how that led to her being invited to take over the bass duties for them fulltime; if there’s any new releases for MF being planned; if Delilah Bon uses a producer or not; how depping led to her becoming a member of the Birmingham, U.K. metal band Fury; plus, we’ll sample the songs “Interceptor” and “What’s It Gonna Be?” from Fury’s album Interceptor on the Danish label Mighty Music.
