This piece has been collecting dust since completion a few months ago. This is the first and ONLY painting of 2020 that I’ll be creating and I’m excited for it to be included in a soon to be announced art show in October. Flip that phone and peep the creep!

After many layers of burnt umber tones this underpainting is finally complete. I overwork these a little too much but they usually benefit the final painting. Color washes and details come next! #

I spend way too much time on my underpainting. Maybe because it’s the most fun or maybe because I’m simply crazy 😂. Starting to add the hands and more paint layers 😈 What’s your favorite part of the process?! I’d love to hear about it👍🏾———-
