Stir and Strain is a cocktail scratch pad that develops and tests cocktails out of a home bar with an emphasis on seasonal, classic, and the occasional Tiki drink thrown in. The scratch pad idea means that I’m putting ideas to paper, but sometimes I want to converse with the audience on what to do next. I’m a believer in making your own bar syrups, garnishes, and bitters, and I think you should try your hand at it too. They tend to taste amazingly better.
