Terry Messal was a one of a kind human, he was kind, caring, very patient, talented and put so much love into the sound work he did for the musicians who performed at Genghis Cohen over all those years. Hi guys, after speaking with Paul Bushnell I've been thinking about writing a chapter on the origins of the music at Genghis, the star musician sit ins, shows, Danny Peck and open mic nights etc, and Alan the iconoclast and colorful owner etc. I'm wondering if you have great stories and memories of your time there, if so send me an e mail to [email protected] if you'd like to contribute a story or anecdote. Not sure where this project will end up but thought it would be fun to chronicle the history and times at Genghis...some pics included below...

Lunch with long time client and friend Paul Bushnell in Tampa before the Tim McGraw intermission show at the outdoor Lightning/Bruins game, tune in after the 1st period to see his bass face 🙂 great to catch up on old times at Genghis etc Too cold so I went home to watch on my couch lol
