The LAB performances of The Nutcracker at Dolby Theatre scheduled for Sunday, Dec 26 have been CANCELLED out of an abundance of caution due to COVID-19, and will not be rescheduled this year.
If you have tickets for these performances, we will contact you by email and/or phone to provide information about your options.
Thank you for your support this holiday season. The LAB dancers, musicians, crew, and staff were truly looking forward seeing you in the theatre again.

Despite careful measures in place, a breakthrough COVID-19 case was detected within the cast of The Nutcracker. For the health and safety of the cast, crew, and our audience, the December 19, 2021 12pm and 5pm performances at Royce Hall have been cancelled.
Ticket holders are being contacted by email or phone regarding ticket options.
Performances at Dolby Theatre on December 23, 24, and 26 will resume as scheduled.

The news is out, Los Angeles Ballet is returning to stages across LA County for a new season! We are overjoyed to announce the 2021/2022 Season and so grateful for the support and encouragement that we have experienced from you.
We've been hard at work preparing for the start of the season and invite you to review the full season and have a look around our brand new website.
The season begins with The Nutcracker Tea events in November, then our original production of The Nutcracker in December, a beautiful mixed rep in the spring at The Broad Stage featuring choreographers Christopher Wheeldon, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and George Balanchine, and then, the most treasured story ballets of all time, The Sleeping Beauty in summer!

In honor of Gala 2021 here is a first look back to Los Angeles Ballet's debut with the original production of The Nutcracker in December 2006. Choreographed by Founding Co-Artistic Directors Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary, it features costumes from a Royal Danish Ballet production commissioned by Mr. Christensen during his tenure as that company’s artistic director, complemented by a Southern California-themed set designed by Catherine Kanner.
