We are Honored to have Jaqueline Fleming as our Artistic Director for PWAStudio Kidz Children Division:

Jaqueline Fleming also known as JAQ is a Film/TV Actor and Producer. Head our Children Divison! She currently recurs on the BET series "The Quad" as Cynthia Diamond and just wrapped production on the Feature Film "River Runs Red" as one of the producers. The Film stars John Cusack, Taye Diggs, George Lopez and Luke Hemsworth.

Jaqueline is also the former founder and owner of Proclaim Talent Agency and Jaqs Acting Studio. A successful Talent Agency & Acting Studio formerly located in New Orleans. She is now in Los Angeles fulltime and will take her expertise an actor, producer, former talent agent and top acting coach to train kids and private coach teens.

Jaqueline has her own special niche and is known for discovering diamonds in the rough and molding them into working actors. One of the young adult actors she discovered, coached and mentored in New Orleans was Jason Mitchell who went on to star as Eazy E in Straight Outta Compton, 4 time Oscar Nominated Film "Mudbound' and the Showtime Series "Chi". She has 10 years under her belt grooming kids, teens and young adults for auditions. She is a Meisner Actor and teaches improv, scene study, cold read, on camera technique, audition technique, character development and script analysis.

80% of the actors she discovered, mentored and coached in New Orleans went on to become fulltime working actors in the Film and TV Industry and some of the projects they landed speaking roles and or starring roles in are are Straight Outta Comptom, Ncis:New Orleans, Roots, The Game, Treme, Hap and Leonard, Bad Moms, Free Lancers, The Originals, Queen Sugar, Mudbound, Zoo, Jack Reacher: Never go back, Women Thou Art Loosed On The 7th day, Lee Daniels the Butler, Django Unchained, Joe Dirt, Kidnap, Saints & Sinners, 99 Homes, Contraband, True Detective, 12 years a slave, The last exorcism Part 2, 21 Jump street, The Paperboy, Breakout kings, Video Girl, A little bit of Heaven, Brawler, Imagination Movers, Revenge of the bridesmaid, Worst Prom Ever, Bad Lieutenant, Pregnancy pact, The Expendables, My Parents My Sister and Me and Angel Wings just to name a few. Tireni Oyenusi (Rufus/Ensemble), is a young, up and coming actor, who has been in multiple commercials (Fruity Pebbles, Panini), short films, and theatre productions (Wizard of Oz). Tireni has also starred in a Biola University student film, “New Moons.” He has been trained under Diane Christiansen, New York Film Academy, and AMTC (Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ). In his spare time, Tireni likes to play videogames, catch up on anything superhero-related, and learn about business. He recently got his 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo, and is currently taking electric guitar lessons. Tireni hopes to positively impact and inspire people through his acting

Chantel Deniese (Mrs. Davidson/Mrs. Mitchell), originally from Houston, Texas, is a professional singer, writer, and actress. She has trained at the Robey Theatre under Ben Guillory, TV/Film with Leah Daniels Butler and Chip Fields. The Musicians Institute in Hollywood is where she got her vocal training along with a host of well-known vocal coaches in Southern California. Her credits include musical theater productions, national commercials, studio session work for recording artists, and live performances throughout the US. Currently she is preparing for a production of her original work as a playwright. She is extremely grateful to be able to work with this amazing cast of actors and production team in “The Watsons Go To Birmingham – 1963.”

Zacerous LaRue Jones (Mr. Alums/DJ/Ensemble), is best known for his role in CALIBER which has won several awards for best student film in 2017.His stage appearances include: No Place To Be Somebody as Gabe, A Soldier’s Story as Peterson, Home as Cephus, Split Second as Val, Tracers as Habu and The Mighty Gents as Frankie, just to name a few. Zacerous was born in Dothan, Alabama. After graduating with a BA in math from Stillman College, he continued his education at Arizona State University where he studied architecture and theatre. Whilst attending ASU, he was casted in a play directed by the award winning playwright Gus Edwards, who eventually became his friend and mentor. Zacerous moved to New York to continue sharpening his chops with the Great Wynn Handman and William Esper. Now living in Los Angeles, he studies with the extraordinary Mr. Ben Guillory in his Advanced Scene Study Workshops at The Robey Theatre Company. Zacerous is the eighth of ten siblings of Reverend Dr. E.D. Jones and Irene Zacerous Jones. He mentors young men on how to become better men.He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, Inc.

Antoine Lee (Buphead/Wool Pooh/Smoke Pooh), is proud to be making his theatrical debut with “The Watsons Go to Birmingham—1963”. He received his BFA in dance from Marrymount Manhattan College in 2011. Since then he has danced with several ballet and modern companies including The Merce Cunningham Rep. Ensemble and Dallas Black Dance Theater II. Along with presenting original choreography at two dance festivals in South Korea, Antoine has performed with many notable Korean pop artists, including Girls Generation and Uhm Jung Hwa. Monty Montgomery (Mr. Robert/Weatherman/Ensemble), is a Chicago native and a retired military Senior NCO/Iraqi Veteran. Since moving to California in 2016 he has performed at the Robey Theater, Wallis Annenberg, The Maverick and Stages Theater. He would like to thank Bernadette Speakes for the opportunity to be a part of The Watsons Go to Birmingham — 1963. While on active duty his motto was One Team One Fight... Since retirement it has changed to One Man One Mic!
