What a show! We're still glowing after last week's performance with the Oregon Bach Festival and Conductor Gemma New.

For the concert, Nicholas put together a new rendition of our popular "National Park Suite" set to the creative fusion of Copland's "Appalachian Spring" & "The Promise of Living," complete with a full chorus. Oregon's sole national park, Crater Lake, also received a well-deserved highlight following a special photographic production that Nicholas made to the park and subsequently integrated into the new performance piece.

Eugene's wonderful Hult Center was the perfect venue to present this sweeping visual concerto, and we're so grateful for the packed audience and all who made it possible!

We're back in Austin, TX working with the Austin Symphony Orchestra on a fantastic, near-sold out program. This weekend's concerts close out the A*O's 115th season and continue the celebration of America's 250th.

Two visual pieces on the big screen, "National Park Suite" and "Rodeo!," are multimedia tributes to our beloved National Parks (including Texas's Big Bend!) as well as the longtime western rodeo tradition. Alongside this, the A*O is serving up a musical journey of American classics from Ives and Copland for the visual choreography to Gould and Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue." The latter is a special rendition performed by Gershwin *himself* via Steinway Spirio piano technology.

Very few tickets remain, so grab one soon and come experience the magic of the A*O at the Long Center this weekend.

8:00pm both nights—Fri. May 15 & Sat. May 16.
