welcome to the age of intuition.
where creativity is no longer treated like productivity’s exhausted cousin, but as a form of liberation, play, ritual, and collective wisdom. ✨

i keep thinking about how we were taught to consume endlessly instead of create mythologies of our own.
to scroll instead of imagine.
to optimize instead of feel wonder.

but i genuinely believe we are entering a new era.
one where art, intuition, storytelling, cinema, symbolism, community, softness, experimentation, and emotional intelligence are becoming survival tools.

not everything needs to become content.
some things are meant to become portals.

this is the kind of world i want to help build through film, creativity, workshops, visual storytelling, and collective imagination.
less extraction. more fascination.
less burnout. more meaning.
less algorithmic emptiness. more magical technology. 🌙

I genuinely cannot stop thinking about “Is God Is” by Aleshea Harris.

So much that inspired me to create some motion graphics of my own 🙃

This is the kind of cinema that reminds you how starving we’ve been for original stories, complex women, mythic storytelling, and filmmaking that actually trusts its audience.

Women allowed to be contradictory, sacred, violent, funny, grieving, tender, grotesque, divine.

This film blends Southern Gothic, Greek tragedy, dark comedy, Black folklore, revenge cinema, and the Heroine’s Journey into something that feels completely alive.

And what moved me the most is that female rage is NOT the whole point.

The emotional architecture of the film is inheritance, sisterhood, survival, fragmentation, reconstruction, and the absurdity of trying to become whole after someone tried to destroy you.

Visually, the iconography in this film is unbelievable.
Womanhood and motherhood framed as divine instead of diminished.
The mother as God.
Black femininity portrayed with mythology, beauty, horror, humanity, and complexity all at once.

And honestly? The film also understands masculinity and patriarchy with more nuance than most contemporary films do.

Nobody escapes the violence they inherited.

This is what happens when Black women are allowed to tell original stories without flattening themselves for mainstream comfort.

hi, i’m Kelly: a greek-born, la-based filmmaker & creative educator 🎬

i make films that explore women, climate, and connection, usually with a mix of humor, feeling, and a little bit of whimsy.
