It is with great sadness that we have to inform you, for reasons passing understanding, Park La Brea Management has decided not to renew my / Wintershaw Enterprises' contract, as their Entertainment Vendor after the end of this year (2015). Therefore, please note that on December 31, 2015, our activities at Park La Brea Theater will go dark, the Park La Brea Theater page, and all our endeavors at Park La Brea will cease! We want to thank you all for your tremendous support of our programs over the past four and a half years. A great turnout at Wintershaw Enterprises’ Special 4th of July BBQ & “Comedy In the Park” was enjoyed by all on Saturday. As you can see from the following photos, a special holiday BBQ hosted by Curson Café was followed by an entertaining and very funny “Comedy In the Park” at Park La Brea Theatre. The breezeway was decorated with American Flag streamers, and many attendees came dressed in their red, white & blue. Debora Gillman’s “Red, White & Blue” paintings added color to the stage. Everyone enjoyed the show hosted by Mel Austin, who introduced stand-up comics, Damian Holmes, Connor McSpadden, JC Currais and headliner, Steve Hofstetter. All disbursed in time to enjoy the fireworks around town. What a jolly holiday was had at Park La Brea!
