I’m still trying to wrap my head around this level of entitlement. You live on the fourth floor with no elevator, you know how heavy water and groceries are, yet you order six cases of water, a stack of groceries, and detergent—and expect someone to carry it all upstairs for a $0.00 tip?

Nope. I’m a delivery driver, not your personal moving service. I left everything at the bottom of the stairs, snapped a photo, and moved on.

If you want full doorstep delivery up four flights, it comes with a cost: show some respect for the effort involved. Consider this your unsolicited workout.

I'm absolutely fuming right now. I just bought this lightly used truck from a five-star dealership to drive my wife around, and I looked underneath to find it completely eaten alive by rust! I marched right back into the showroom to demand my $55,000 back, and the manager looked me dead in the eye and said the orange crust is a factory-applied biological rust inhibitor designed to organically adapt to harsh winters. Biological rust inhibitor?? Sir, this is a literal chunk of disintegrating metal, not a science experiment! He refused to take the truck back and claimed I just need to park it in a heated garage so the metal can heal itself. I have a Master's degree, so I'm perfectly capable of recognizing a blatant scam! Am I overreacting, or should I call the police for extortion over this absolute lemon of a vehicle?

Maybe I'm the only one, but getting stuck behind a school bus every few blocks can be incredibly frustrating. 😅

You're driving to work, heading to an appointment, trying to stay on schedule, and suddenly traffic comes to a complete stop.

Not slowed down.

Not delayed a little.

Completely stopped.

The bus pulls over, the stop sign swings out, and every vehicle in both directions is expected to sit and wait.

I understand why the system exists, and obviously nobody wants children put in danger.

But from a driver's perspective, it can feel like the entire flow of traffic gets put on hold over and over again throughout the morning.

Meanwhile, everyone else on the road still has places to be, deadlines to meet, and responsibilities waiting for them.

It sometimes makes me wonder if there could be a more efficient way to handle student pickups and drop-offs without bringing traffic in both directions to a standstill every time.

Again, safety should always come first.

But it doesn't stop those delays from feeling frustrating when you're already running behind.

So I'm curious...

I just spent $25.48 on a meal at Burger King and honestly had to sit there in silence for a minute. When did fast food start costing almost as much as a sit-down restaurant?
To break down the experience:
The Hits: The garlic bites were dangerously good, and the onion rings absolutely carried the meal. The burgers also tasted surprisingly better than they looked—which was a shock since they appeared tiny at first.
The Misses: The fries were dry as hell; they were essentially inedible until I drowned them in ketchup.
It feels like fast food has hit this bizarre turning point where it’s becoming incredibly expensive while simultaneously getting better and worse at the same time. Am I losing my mind, or is this the new normal?

I'm starting to wonder when public street parking became something people could just claim for themselves. 😅

Every morning, my neighbor puts out folding chairs and traffic cones in front of their house like they've created their own VIP parking section.

No construction crew.

No moving truck.

No permit.

Just chairs and cones sitting there to keep everyone else out.

The frustrating part is that parking in this neighborhood is already limited. People are driving around looking for spots, parking farther from home than they'd like, and walking extra blocks while this perfectly good space stays empty because someone decided to reserve it.

I completely understand wanting to park close to your house. Honestly, who doesn't?

Nobody enjoys hunting for parking after a long day.

But that's a challenge everyone in the neighborhood deals with—not just one person.

At some point it stops feeling like "saving a spot" and starts feeling like someone decided the normal rules don't apply to them.

A public street is supposed to be shared, not reserved with lawn chairs and traffic cones.

So I'm curious...

If you pulled up and saw an open public parking spot blocked by chairs and cones, would you move them and park there?

To the neighbor who scheduled what may have been the loudest propane delivery imaginable at 8:00 in the morning—I sincerely hope the refill was worth it. 😭
There’s nothing quite like starting the day with a large propane truck parked outside, cones set up around the property, and a lengthy hose stretched across the yard as if preparations were underway for a major industrial operation.
Of course, I understand the necessity. Homes require fuel, heating systems need to be supplied, and propane deliveries are a routine part of property maintenance. There is nothing unusual about that.
What caught my attention was the scale of the operation. The truck remained on-site for an extended period, idling loudly enough to be heard throughout the neighborhood, while the delivery setup became the center of attention for anyone passing by. For a brief moment, it felt less like a residential street and more like a commercial fueling facility.
And then there’s the propane tank itself—occupying a permanent place beside the house, quietly serving its purpose while remaining one of the least appreciated features of homeownership.
I realize propane deliveries are a normal and necessary service, but I’m curious: if this were taking place directly next door to you early in the morning, would it bother you, or is this simply one of those everyday inconveniences that comes with living in a neighborhood?

To the parents of the boys going door to door shoveling snow… yes, I already contacted the POLICE 😭🚔❄️💀
There are kids going house to house offering to shovel driveways and when I asked if they had an LLC for their “business” the answer was NO 😭
That tells me everything I need to know 💀
And before people jump in with:
“they’re just hardworking kids!”
Okay… but running a business is still a REAL thing with:
permits,
liability,
and actual legal responsibilities 😭
You do NOT just send children door to door in random neighborhoods acting like that’s automatically normal 💀
So yes, I called the police, explained exactly what was happening, and handed over the information I had 😭
And yes, I ALSO notified the BBB 💀
People don’t get a free pass just because:
they’re young
or
it’s snowing 😭

I’m sitting at my gate right now and there’s a grown man absolutely PASSED OUT across his seat leaned all the way back with his mouth hanging wide open like he’s asleep in his own bedroom.
Meanwhile families with kids are walking by, people are trying to sit nearby, announcements are going off, and everyone just has to awkwardly pretend this is normal 😩
I understand being tired. Airports are exhausting.
But there’s still a difference between quietly resting and turning a crowded public gate into your personal nap station.
At some point basic self-awareness has to kick in.
This is shared public space.
Not your couch at home.
And honestly the part that blows my mind most is how nobody says anything anymore because people are so afraid of confrontation. Everyone just sits there uncomfortable while one person acts like the entire area belongs to them.
I’m genuinely this close to waking him up because WHY are strangers expected to deal with this?? 💀
Am I overreacting or has public etiquette completely collapsed lately?
