"
The reimagined version of Luca's painting [Cynical Philosopher] represents a personal perspective of mind-body dualism that denotes either the view that mental phenomena are non-physical or that the mind and body are distinct.

"
In the human mind, the grey area between consciousness and unconsciousness possesses the potential to fabricate aesthetic subtlety that establishes a discomposing zone of visual haze and chaos. Such space is not readily conforming to a set of norms or rules when allowing the traumatized subconscious to run astray in one's domain. In the end, only specs of memories remain upon returning to the conscious mind. Such collection of debris appears as an unforgiving simplification of the original piece.

Dionysus, the God, associated with freedom who wields the Thyrsus, often dripping with honey, who's also an icon of religious ecstasy and ritual madness which can be a perfect fit for the deity who exchanges his followers' external awareness for interior spiritual awareness, accompanied by visions and emotional euphoria, developing a potential sandbox.
