Being rejected sucks! Musicians deal with an extraordinary amount of it throughout their careers. We can either let it harm us, or we can learn from it.

I spent the past few months working on a proposal for a HUGE project that would have employed a lot of musicians and been quite an accolade for my business. Unfortunately, they decided to go with someone else. That sucks! Great memory! Spot Karen playing cello at NAMM 2026 JAMM Night with some incredible rock stars. The challenge of JAMM Night is that you often don't get a chance to run through your song before the show - you just jump in and hold on! What a ride!

! Nothing breaks a heart like cello 💔 We recorded several musicians for the soundtrack of the 2024 movie "Lazareth" starring Ashley Judd. The gorgeous, haunting cello playing in this clip features the talented Maksim Velichkin. This post-apocalyptic thriller was directed by Alec Tibaldi with music composed by Amadeo Ursini.
