Introducing John Pollono, the moderator for our talkback on Sunday, Sept 22nd.

John wrote, directed, and starred in the independent feature, Small Engine Repair, opposite Jon Bernthal, Shea Whigham, and Ciara Bravo. The film, which premiered at SXSW, is the feature adaptation of John’s critically acclaimed play of the same name. Small Engine Repair was a New York Times Critic Pick, and The Huffington Post named it one of the year's 10 best plays. John's play Lost Girls also had an extended Off-Broadway run and was included in "Best Plays for Women." His script for the 2018 feature Stronger landed him on Variety’s “10 Screenwriters to Watch," and his latest film Riff Raff premiered to rave reviews at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival.
