We believe that the arts are essential for the growth of communities, and we want to create opportunities for this sort of growth by breathing artistic and cultural life into various spaces in the neighborhood. By opening the doors of our events to all, we are hoping to foster a harmonious relationship between students at the University of Southern California (USC) and young people living in the historic neighborhood in which the University functions. By revitalizing spaces around the community and collaborating with those who have been instrumental in establishing the arts here, we hope to revolutionize the cultural life in the University Park / West Adams area. From jam sessions to film screenings to Brazilian percussion workshops, we are working on projects to encourage students to pop the Trojan Bubble and build communities around common interests in art and culture.
