We’ve got a busy few months ahead, and we’re so excited to bring Knitknacks & Whatknots to some fantastic festivals, art markets, and holiday events!

From Vikings and Renaissance adventures to handmade markets and holiday shopping, there are lots of chances to come see us in person, squish some yarn, discover new handmade goodies, and find something you didn’t know you needed.

And we may still have another stop to add to the list!

⚔️🧶 The Vikings are calling…and we’re answering! 🧶⚔️

Knitknacks & Whatknots is headed to the Vista Viking Festival next weekend — and of course we’re bringing our handknit Viking hats!

Along with plenty of Viking-worthy headwear, we’ll have our hand-dyed cotton yarn, handknit goodies, and clever accessories for knitters, crocheters, sewists & makers.

🐉 And The Majestic Dragon will be joining us with their faux gauge & gauge earrings, jewelry, and hanging dragons!

Fresh from the drying rack and ready for their debut! 🎉

We’re excited to announce that two new hand-dyed cotton yarn colorways are now available:

🧶 Artichoke Bloom
🍬 Cotton Candy

And that’s not all! We’ve also finished two new batches of our popular Final Pour colorway, created from the last drops of dye from previous dye sessions. Each batch is uniquely beautiful and impossible to duplicate exactly.

The first four new colorways are available now, and we’re already working on the next two. Stay tuned as they finish their rinse-and-dry journey!

The dye studio is busy again! 🎉

We’ve gone back to dyeing and currently have TWO brand-new colorways in the rinse stage. They’re not quite ready for the drying rack yet, but we couldn’t resist sharing a sneak peek. 👀

We’re also excited to be adding not one, but TWO versions of our newest Final Pour colorway! Since every Final Pour is created from the last bits of dye left from previous batches, no two runs are ever exactly alike.

Any guesses what we’re calling the new colors? 🤔

🎨🧶 We’ve been back in the dye studio, and we’re so excited to share a peek at what we’ve been working on!

Fresh from the rinse tubs are two new colorways:

💚 Artichoke Bloom – inspired by the beautiful colors hidden inside an artichoke flower

🍭 Cotton Candy – a sweet blend of pinks that looks just like its namesake

We’re also experimenting with something new: our very first Final Pour colorways! Rather than letting leftover dye go to waste, we combine the last bits from multiple dye sessions to create completely unique skeins. This first round produced not one, but two different Final Pour colorways, and we’re excited to see how they turn out.

These skeins are still being rinsed and finished, but we couldn’t wait to share a sneak peek. One of our favorite things about hand-dyeing yarn is that every batch has its own personality, and sometimes the most unexpected combinations become our favorites.
