Heartbreaking. We had a great show at the last Spring Arts Tower Takeover, and actually recommended it to fellow artists, who booked tables for this Saturday. Extremely disappointed in “it’s a free country” (it’s not) The Last Bookstore who immediately hid our response after we posted it, presumably because so many other artists had flamed them over the past few days that they had to set their AI agent to kill all IG dissent. Sad and shameful, especially for a bookstore posing as a bastion of the local art scene.
This will be our last Spring Arts Tower Takeover until they change their policy. Please come out to support the artists who had no idea this was their attitude, and give your nastiest side eye to any AI slop purveyors you happen to see. Don’t give them a second of your time, or a penny of your hard-earned cash.
