I’ve never talked about the threats we were getting from everywhere after Tru Colors Brewery shut down on Val’s birthday. What are the odds? Threats just for wanting answers for my brothers death, like everyone else would do. This “mish man” threat was from Taco Bell and I haven’t gone back to that one since. I have been scared to be in Wilmington for the past 2 years. Now I just don’t give a f**k. There is no more time to waste. I won’t stay quiet anymore. My family blames the WPD for my brothers death. For the lies, and complete utter negligence towards my brothers case that has been proven by internal affairs. Tru Colors claiming it’s cameras were “upgrading” so there was no video evidence caused the biggest hurdle for us to find answers for my brothers death. Tru Colors also had multiple murders tied to it before my brothers death that raised suspicion as to why my brother was found there. The article by that came out after Val’s death, that truly was the cause for Tru Colors to lose funding and shut down, was being written before Val even died. So please don’t blame my family for something we did not cause. We only want justice for my brothers death. ❤️🙏
