Friday, October 16 @ 8:00 pm
| https://alvasshowroom.com/event/stevie-nicks-illusion-a-tribute-to-fleetwood-mac-2/
$35.00
Stevie Nicks Illusion has been referred to as the most authentic sounding tribute to Fleetwood Mac to date! The haunting vocals and performance of Diana Grace are “Spot On” as Stevie Nicks from the early years of the 1970’s, and Monty Sommer recreates Lindsey Buckingham’s vocals and unique and intricate guitar work to sheer perfection! World Class musicianship combined with the chemistry and performance of all five band members is pure magic and all with no tracks! Laurie Richardson captures the essence of Christine McVie in voice, as well as on keyboards. The band showcases the Best of Fleetwood Mac plus specially selected songs from Stevie Nicks’ solo career. Dave Christensen is superb as Mick Fleetwood on drums and style, and Brett Scott on bass rounds out the group with his solid rock groove as John McVie! The shows are exciting as well as intimate, as they connect with the audience and engage with them in what can only be described as a magical shared musical experience!

Taylor Made Tapestry returns to Alvas Showroom celebrating the extraordinary music of two of the most prolific and influential singer-songwriters in popular music history—Carole King and James Taylor. Carole King, a member of both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, helped define the sound of a generation, penning over 400 songs recorded by more than 1,000 artists. Her landmark 1971 album Tapestry became the top-selling pop solo album of all time until 1982. James Taylor emerged in the 1970s as a master of heartfelt, introspective songwriting, earning five Grammy Awards and becoming the first artist to place Top 10 albums in six consecutive decades. Their musical bond was famously celebrated in 2007 when they reunited for a historic concert marking the 50th anniversary of the Troubadour in West Hollywood.

Honoring that legendary collaboration, Stephen Bock of the acclaimed James Taylor tribute Taylor Made joins forces with Carla Buffa of Southern California’s beloved Carole King tribute Sweet Seasons for an unforgettable evening. Audiences will be treated to immaculate renditions of classics including “Fire and Rain,” “It’s Too Late,” “Carolina in My Mind,” “So Far Away,” “I Feel the Earth Move,” “Shower the People,” “Jazzman,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” and more—performed with stunning accuracy, warmth, and attention to detail. NARDIA -Etta James meets Eva Cassidy Tribute
Friday, October 9 @ 8:00 pm
| https://alvasshowroom.com/event/nardia-etta-james-meets-eva-cassidy-tribute/
$35.00
ETTA JAMES MEETS EVA CASSIDY
Two iconic voices. One unforgettable show.

Internationally acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Nardia brings together the raw soul of Etta James and the breathtaking beauty of Eva Cassidy in a powerful live celebration of two of music’s most unforgettable voices.

Etta James Meets Eva Cassidy journeys from the fire, grit and swagger of rhythm & blues to the intimate, haunting storytelling that made Cassidy’s performances timeless. Featuring much-loved songs including At Last, I’d Rather Go Blind, Something’s Got a Hold on Me, Songbird, Fields of Gold and Over the Rainbow, the show gives audiences the opportunity to rediscover these classics through Nardia’s distinctive voice and commanding stage presence.

With a sound spanning soul, blues, R&B and jazz, Nardia is an award-winning singer-songwriter and performer whose career has taken her from Australia to stages across the United States.

In 2025, she became a Top 5 Finalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, emerging as the only female artist among the finalists from a field of hundreds of acts from around the world. Her original music has also gained international recognition, with her single “Is It You” reaching #1 on the Urban Influencer Independent R&B/Soul Chart in the USA and receiving Grammy consideration.

Nardia has performed extensively throughout Australia and the United States, including appearances in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Memphis, Nashville and Chicago. Career highlights include supporting legendary bassist Marcus Miller in Las Vegas, performing at Chicago’s iconic Buddy Guy’s Legends, and being invited to perform in the VIP lounges for Beyoncé and Adele during their Australian tours.

It is this background that makes Etta James Meets Eva Cassidy much more than a traditional tribute show.

Nardia doesn’t attempt to imitate these extraordinary women. Instead, she honours the emotion, storytelling and musicianship that made them iconic bringing her own vocal power, vulnerability and personality to their songs.

From the aching vulnerability of I’d Rather Go Blind to the soaring beauty of Songbird, audiences are taken through an evening of love, heartbreak, strength, longing and soul.

Etta James Meets Eva Cassidy is a celebration of timeless music, extraordinary women and songs that still have the power to stop a room.
