Adam Beane invented Cx5 as a solution to the limitations of traditional clays and waxes. They are extraordinary materials that model like clay, tool like plastic, and finish like wax. They are the ideal modeling material when warm, and Cx5h is as hard as plastic when cool, while Cx5s remains more malleable. These properties make them infinitely re-workable as well as machinable.
