Stuntwomen's Association of Motion Pictures (SWAMP) Established in 1967, the Stuntwomen's Association is home to the most elite group of professional stunt women in the industry. Visit www.StuntWomen.com

The Stuntwomen's Association of Motion Pictures was the first women's stunt association. It was founded in 1967 by some of the first women stunt performers in the business. Members of association have most appeared in numerous feature films including "Eagle Eye," "The Spirit," "Zombieland," "Pirates of the Carribean", "National Treasure", "Mission Impossible 3" and "The Departed" and the upcoming

blockbuster "The Avengers". The stuntwomen also serve as stunt coordinators and second unit directors. Their offices are located in Studio City, California. Membership into Stuntwomen's Association is by invitation only and is, "offered to only the top stuntwomen in the industry." Members of the group vote on a candidate's membership. The association is run by President Katie Rowe and a board of directors that consist of six other women.

As Katie Rowe steps down as President of The Stuntwomen’s Association, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for her extraordinary leadership and unwavering dedication over the past 17 years.

Katie has been a force of growth and empowerment for women in the stunt industry. Her vision, commitment, and tireless efforts have shaped The Stuntwomen’s Association into the powerhouse it is today. Her sacrifice, often unseen by the public eye, has meant countless hours of work, juggling responsibilities, and keeping a rowdy bunch of women in order ;)

In the words of our new president , ‘under the guidance of Katie Rowe, we’ve grown into a Ta**us Award Winning, Stunt Coordinating, DGA member(ing!), Emmy Award winning group of women’. We look forward to Heidi continuing to move us forward.

Thank you, Katie, for your sacrifice and unwavering commitment - Stuntwomen’s Association are forever better because of you. We are beyond grateful for everything you’ve done and continue to do.

Blockbuster movie is in theaters now and crushing box office numbers! A bunch of our members were in it - doubling the leading lady along with and joining her in rodeo tornado shenanigans!
